SwitchIt! People Extra – Learn about people who help us through accessible, switch-activated activities
Fully accessible and configurable, the program allows learners to build scenes, trigger animations, or explore themed flashcards with one or two switches, a touch screen, mouse, IntelliKeys or Concept Keyboard. A picture menu is included to support non-readers with independent scene selection.
Three activity types:
Event Sequences – 12 five-step animations focusing on people who help us
Picture Building – build a scene and watch it animate; also available in one-step mode
Flash Cards – switch through large images related to the theme
Picture Menu – enables non-literate users to choose activities independently
Choose the number of steps per activity and set the length of animated rewards
Dot-to-dot, word-picture matching, colouring, story sequencing, talk-about cards, number lines, and more
Tactile braille worksheets – designed for printing on swell paper and processing with a heat fuser to create raised, touchable images and text for learners with visual impairments
