The iClick is an innovative device that enables wireless control of electrical appliances and toys through an iPad. By using the free iClick App, users can manage up to two appliances effortlessly.
This functionality is particularly beneficial for teaching cause and effect, promoting cooperative play, and promoting independent usage.
The it-Click-On Plus is designed to provide switch users with the ability to control electrical appliances.
It offers a straightforward interface, making it suitable for various educational and therapeutic settings.
While both devices aim to provide accessible control of electrical appliances, a notable difference is the iClick includes Bluetooth. This means you can connect the iClick to an iPad via the included free iClick App, or the Go Talk Now App if you prefer. Enabling you to control the device by switch, touch or even eye gaze.
It also has the added benefit that because there’s no wires between the iClick and the iPad, the iClick can be kept out of sight - reducing the risk of plugs and sockets being touched or causing a distraction.
Using the iClick App alongside the iClick has the added benefit of additional control modes – offering seven modes in total. Four modes provide independent switch operation ( Direct, Latched, Timed and On/Off Mode) and three give cooperative control (Direct, Latched, Timed).
