The Information Technology Technical Assistance and Training Center (ITTATC) is offering an introduction to accessibility training for companies in the electronic and information technology (E&IT) industries.
This free, 3-hour session is designed to provide a glimpse into the training options available to your company. It will let you plan how to address Section 508 and Section 255 requirements and improve collaborative relations with consumers with disabilities.
The material is drawn from experts in the field, with dozens of years of experience in identifying and solving accessibility problems. Many were involved in drafting and refining the federal requirements for accessibility, and have years of corporate experience in making cost-effective improvements in product and service accessibility.
The Preview is designed for two audiences: organizations that are just beginning to plan their accessibility programs, and organizations that already have a track record and are considering developing their training program further. Either way, the Preview offers you the most efficient way to understand how you can train your staff in what they need to know to improve the accessibility of your products and services.
Sessions will be scheduled throughout the U.S.; contact us for information on a session near you.
We can also arrange for a customized presentation to your staff.
Contact us to register by email. We can make any arrangements necessary to accommodate you, including providing the training materials in alternate forms; please be specific regarding your needs when you register.
