User can dial 911 without dialing ‘9’ first

Being able to dial 911 without dialing ‘9’ first (in a PBX or key system) allows a user with a physical or cognitive disability an easier way to reach emergency services.

Being able to dial 911 without dialing ‘9’ first addresses:

1193.41(e) Operable with limited manual dexterity.

1193.41(i) Operable with limited cognitive skills.

 

There are no Product Types that generically include the ability to dial 911 without dialing ‘9’ first.
